I. Name of the Club:
Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC-MOJO

II. Mission Statement:
Jeepers Enjoying Every Possible Opportunity to JEEP, while providing a fun, family-friendly organization that maximizes the JEEP experience while fostering an atmosphere of community by supporting local charities and organizations through safe, responsible, conscious JEEPIN’. Get your MOJO on!
III. Membership:
Membership will consist of owners who enjoy many activities including, Facebook group participation, wheeling, camping, off-road trips, jeep sponsored events and community events.
i. Be a present owner of any JEEP vehicle.
ii. All driving members must maintain liability and no-fault insurance as required by their state under which the vehicle is registered.
iii. All driving members must possess a valid driver’s license issued by their state of residence. A valid learner’s permit accompanied by a legal parent/guardian as authorized by their state of residence is also permitted.
iv. Each member partaking in any off-road activity must maintain, on file with Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC current member information forms including a signed Waiver of Liability.
v. Each member must meet all current Vehicle Equipment Requirements.
vi. Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC will not be held responsible for injuries to a member and/or guest. Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC will not be responsible for any damage or loss to any vehicle or personal property at any organized event, meeting, or scheduled trail ride.
IV. Membership Dues:
a. Membership fee of $25 and renewal will be January 1 every year.
b. Dues are payable Nov 1-Dec 31 of the current year for the upcoming annual calendar year, or as per scheduled by the board of directors.
c. New membership dues are due with application for membership.
d. Dues shall be $25 per immediate family to support the fiscal commitments, expenses, and activities of Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC,. Any remaining profit at the end of the year will be donated to such charities as directed by the Board of Directors.
e. Dues shall be payable to “Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC”.
V. Conduct and Activity Rules:
a. All members must conduct themselves in a respectable and orderly manner. Any member not doing so may be subject to dismissal. In the event of a dismissal due to conduct, the former member will not be due any refund of dues, fees, or other monies.
b. Members will be responsible for the actions of their guests.
c. Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC promotes a family oriented environment and does not allow the consumption of alcohol or any controlled substance prior to or during any official event where driving is involved. Consumption of alcohol or any controlled substance prior to or during any official event will constitute dangerous and unsafe behavior and will be subject to review by the Board of Directors. This action may result in immediate revocation of all membership rights and participation of all club events.
VI. Trail Ride Rules:
a. The Event Coordinator and/or board of directors are in charge of all official rides and have ultimate authority for all rides and the safety of scheduled events.
b. Members must have on file a Waiver of Liability. Guests must sign a waiver before participating in an event. It is the responsibility of the Event Coordinator to ensure that all participating vehicles have completed waivers.
c. All vehicles must meet all Vehicle Equipment requirements.
d. Do not travel in unauthorized areas, Respect any rules and/or signage in place on location.
e. Travel in natural waterways is prohibited except in locations of pre-defined, posted crossings.
f. Do not litter! You haul it in, you haul it out!
VII. Vehicle Equipment:
a. Vehicles must be maintained in a safe manner, be properly tagged and licensed, and be in compliance with all federal, state and local laws. Each driver must have a valid driver’s license (or learners permit with parent/guardian present), proof of insurance, and current member information on file with Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC including a signed Waiver of Liability and meet all current Vehicle Equipment requirements.
b. Safety belts (one for each occupant). All individuals must be properly restrained by factory or better equipment inside any moving vehicle on a club ride.
c. A roll cage or factory unitized roll protection structure as well as functioning safety belts for every passenger is required on every vehicle.
d. A spare tire within two inches of the diameter of the vehicle tires, a jack capable of adequately lifting any vehicle off the ground, and a lug wrench matching lug nut size of the vehicle are highly recommended.
e. Frame mounted front and rear recovery points are required.
f. All vehicles must have a functioning exhaust system for both noise and fire suppression purposes.
g. Towropes or tow straps are highly recommended for each vehicle. It is recommended that each vehicle possess at a minimum, one (1) tow strap or rope of a minimum length of twenty (20) feet and rated with a safe work load limit above 5,000 lbs.
h. A functioning 40 channel CB is highly recommended for each vehicle. This allows clear communication between vehicles at any point during the event.
i. Fire Extinguishers and First Aid kits are highly recommended for each vehicle.
j. Any vehicle in non-compliance with any of the above Vehicle Equipment Requirements is the sole responsibility of the owner/occupants of said vehicle. There is a risk of having to abandon the vehicle on the trail due to inability to continue on (i.e. flat tire with no spare). Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC will not be held responsible for recovery of any abandoned non-conforming vehicles.

X. Board of Directors and Duties:

a. Exercise general supervision of the club, and club affairs: represent the club within the public and all meetings.
b. Handle or oversee all routine club business including scheduling club meetings and requesting meetings of club officers.
c. Oversee responding to club e-mails and correspondence.
d. Represent the club within the public.
e.Coordinate volunteer resources as needed for events.
f.Oversee all major Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC, events
g. Collect new member’s information and ensure that all forms are completed including Waiver of Liability and Members.
h. Maintain and operate the club’s Web Page and all Social Media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
i. Manage and oversee the calendar of events; assure that each event has the necessary officer support/attendance.
j. Maintain all club finances; signs all checks.
k. Collect membership dues and renewal dues and issue receipts for collected monies.

IX. Meetings:
a. A general membership meeting of the Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC will be held each year at a specified date, time and location will be announced at the previous meeting and/or on Mid Ohio Jeepers Organizations, LLC Web Page, Facebook or email communications.
b. A trail ride or planned activity will be held each month, as the schedule allows. Dates, times and location will be announced by Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC on their Web Page, Facebook or by email communication.
c. The board will present to the membership each January a proposed calendar for the year. The calendar of events will include the general meetings of Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC, the monthly schedule trail ride, and major events and meetings.
X. Club Funds
a. In the event of the disbanding of Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC, all monies, assets, and property shall be donated to such charities as directed by the Board of Directors.
b. Benefit and/or fundraiser events organized by Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC shall benefit charities selected by majority vote of Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC members. The input of each member is valued and will not go unheard.
c. The annual budget surplus, less any expenses, shall be donated to such charities as directed by the Board of Directors at the end of each calendar year .
