RULES:

1. See below for UPDATED registration cost information. Registrations costs are pre-paid and non-refundable.
2. Entry forms must be received by October 17, 2018, to guarantee entry in the parade.
3. Candy throwing is not permitted for the safety of spectators. Candy must be handed out at the curb. If candy is thrown then you may not be allowed in next year’s parade.
4. All entries must have a decorated vehicle and/or costumed driver & marching units. Bands and color guards are exempt.
5. Do not use vehicle headlights. Use only parking/running lights and interior lights. Allow two car lengths between vehicles.
6. No motorcycles except “full dress” style or fully-decorated are allowed.
7. Due to public safety, semi-trucks (tractor trailers) will not be permitted in any entry.
8. Horse/animal units are invited. All horses/animals will be located at the end of the parade. Entries must clean up all manure.
9. The parade line-up will be posted online at www.chillicothejaycees.org by Friday, October 26th. The parade lineup will also be available on the “Chillicothe Jaycees” Facebook page. You will be able to determine your position in the parade, and where you will line up. Line-up begins at 5:30 pm the day of the parade.
10. See below for the disclaimers of liability, waivers, and releases that by submission of this entry form and the groups participation in the parade, my group, including but not limited to each and every individual member, agrees to be bound by. You MUST sign the back of this form in order for the submission to be valid.

**ANY ENTRY ACTING IN AN UNSAFE OR ILLEGAL MANNER WILL BE DISCHARGED FROM THE PARADE AND ARE SUBJECT TO PROSECUTION.**

REGISTRATION COSTS:

• Business/Commercial entries – $75 pre-paid fee for the first vehicle, $10 for each additional vehicle
Non-profit entries – FREE for the first vehicle, $10 for each additional vehicle. Proof of non-profit status may be requested.
• Political entries – $75 pre-paid fee for the first vehicle, $10 for each additional vehicle. No flyers, handbills, stickers, or political brochures may be distributed.
• Car/Motorcycle/Jeep Clubs – $75 pre-paid fee for up to 5 vehicles, $10 for up to 5 additional vehicles. More than 10 total vehicles requires an additional entry.

FLOAT/COSTUME JUDGING:

• Float judging will take place in the Chillicothe City Pool parking lot in Yoctangee Park at 5:00 p.m. After judging, floats may move to line-up. Costume judging will take place at the main stage (in front of courthouse) at 6:00 p.m.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
