Mission Statement:

Jeepers Enjoying Every Possible Opportunity to JEEP, while providing a fun, family-friendly organization that maximizes the JEEP experience while fostering an atmosphere of community by supporting local charities and organizations through safe, responsible, conscious JEEPIN’. Get your MOJO on!

Membership:

a. Membership will consist of owners who enjoy many activities including, Facebook group participation, wheeling, camping, off-road trips, jeep sponsored events and community events.

b. Be a present owner of any JEEP vehicle.

c. All driving members must maintain liability and no-fault insurance as required by their state under which the vehicle is registered.

d. All driving members must possess a valid driver’s license issued by their state of residence. A valid learner’s permit accompanied by a legal parent/guardian as authorized by their state of residence is also permitted.

e. Each member partaking in any off-road activity must maintain, on file with Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC current member information forms including a signed Waiver of Liability.

f. Each member must meet all current Vehicle Equipment Requirements.

g. Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC will not be held responsible for injuries to a member and/or guest. Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC will not be responsible for any damage or loss to any vehicle or personal property at any organized event, meeting, or scheduled trail ride.

Membership Dues:

a. Membership fee of $25 and renewal will be January 1 every year. New membership dues are due with application for membership.

b. Dues shall be $25 per immediate family to support the fiscal commitments, expenses, and activities of Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC,. All proceeds will be donated to charities .

c. Dues shall be payable to “Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC”.

Conduct and Activity Rules:

a. All members must conduct themselves in a respectable and orderly manner. Any member not doing so may be subject to dismissal. In the event of a dismissal due to conduct, the former member will not be due any refund of dues, fees, or other monies.

b. Members will be responsible for the actions of their guests.

c. Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC promotes a family oriented environment and does not allow the consumption of alcohol or any controlled substance prior to or during any official event where driving is involved. Consumption of alcohol or any controlled substance prior to or during any official event will constitute dangerous and unsafe behavior and will be subject to review by the Board of Directors. This action may result in immediate revocation of all membership rights and participation of all club events.

Trail Ride Rules:

a. The Event Coordinator and/or board of directors are in charge of all official rides and have ultimate authority for all rides and the safety of scheduled events.

b. Members must have on file a Waiver of Liability.

c. All vehicles must meet all Vehicle Equipment requirements.

d. Do not travel in unauthorized areas, Respect any rules and/or signage in place on location.

e. Travel in natural waterways is prohibited except in locations of pre-defined, posted crossings.

f. Do not litter! You haul it in, you haul it out!

Vehicle Equipment:

a. Vehicles must be maintained in a safe manner, be properly tagged and licensed, and be in compliance with all federal, state and local laws. Each driver must have a valid driver’s license (or learners permit with parent/guardian present), proof of insurance, and current member information on file with Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization, LLC including a signed Waiver of Liability and meet all current Vehicle Equipment requirements.

b. Safety belts (one for each occupant). All individuals must be properly restrained by factory or better equipment inside any moving vehicle on a club ride.

c. A roll cage or factory unitized roll protection structure as well as functioning safety belts for every passenger is required on every vehicle.

d. A spare tire within two inches of the diameter of the vehicle tires, a jack capable of adequately lifting any vehicle off the ground, and a lug wrench matching lug nut size of the vehicle are highly recommended.

e. Frame mounted front and rear recovery points are required.

f. All vehicles must have a functioning exhaust system for both noise and fire suppression purposes.

g. Towropes or tow straps are highly recommended for each vehicle. It is recommended that each vehicle possess at a minimum, one (1) tow strap or rope of a minimum length of twenty (20) feet and rated with a safe work load limit above 5,000 lbs without metal hooks on the ends.

h. A functioning FRS/GRMS radio is highly recommended for each vehicle. This allows clear communication between vehicles at any point during the event.

i. Fire Extinguishers and First Aid kits are highly recommended for each vehicle.

j. Any vehicle in non-compliance with any of the above Vehicle Equipment Requirements is the sole responsibility of the owner/occupants of said vehicle.
